The Woodstock Inn is an award-winning resort in the remarkably beautiful New England village of Woodstock, Vermont. Easily accessible in the foothills of the Green Mountains, the inn is a facility carefully designed to offer modern accommodations of the highest standards and to blend in with and honor the significant history of the area.
A broad stone fireplace greets you upon entering the Woodstock Inn. The library off the lobby is only one of the many spots to gather and stitch. The spacious guest rooms are luxurious, as typified by the hand sewn quilts on the beds. Guests also have use of an indoor pool and fitness center.
The cuisine is no less excellent than the inn itself. The chef at the Woodstock Inn was named Vermont's Chef of the Year by a culinary organization founded by Julia Childs. The spectacular New England offerings from the inn kitchen are no small part of why the Woodstock Inn is recognized by all major travel guides as central Vermont's best resort.
Our nation's history is key to the ambiance of the village of Woodstock. Across the inn's front grounds lays the village green, which is flanked by a covered bridge and a row of homes dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Nearly all of the buildings in the village's compact downtown are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The walkable downtown is filled with locally owned shops and boutiques.
Woodstock prides itself on being the only town in America to have five bells cast by the patriot Paul Revere. One of them is owned by the Woodstock Inn.
