The Marriott Cincinnati North. The Marriott surroundings are elegant.

When I booked this location they had only been open three
days!

The Shopping Expedition!
Waynesville
A chartered bus plus two 15-person passenger vans first
transported everybody Left to right: Elizabeth Newlin of Bent Creek, Cecilia
Turner of Waynesville is a quaint place to shop!

to Waynesville, Ohio, the "Antiques Capital of the
Midwest."
The Gathering Room, a favorite shop of The Trilogy and a
co-sponsor
of the bus trip, opened early just for us!

Heart in Hand Needleart, and Ruth Sparrow of Twisted
Threads.

Lebanon
The next stop was Lebanon, Ohio. Pictured is The Golden
Lamb, the oldest hotel in Ohio. Lots of great shopping was available in Lebanon as
well!

Twisted Threads
After a fabulous dinner at Cincinnati landmark The
Montgomery Inn, we traveled to

Madiera, home of Ruth Sparrow's fabulous cross stitch shop,
Twisted Threads.
Ruth was a co-sponsor of the bus trip and made arrangements
for her shop
to be open exclusively for our group that evening.
Celtic music concert by
performer
and recording artist Tom Scheidt
Tom and performing partner Linda provided a rollicking
concert to

wrap up the evening. Hey, it's not everyday you see a guy
wearing a dress!
