The Location
Part of the Woodstock Inn, as seen from the Garden
Terrace classroom. The rounded circular section is the Eagle Cafe where
attendees enjoyed Detail of the 1823 Revere Bell on the Woodstock Inn
grounds. The Woodstock Inn & Resort sits just off the village
green. It is the Downtown Woodstock Thanks to the help of a steel girder supporting it, a
building sits A covered bridge is on the opposite side of the village
green from the inn. The charming Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church is

The weather was not the most cooperative the first day of
the retreat, but by
the next day it was much nicer, as is evident in the
photos!

The Musical Entertainment

The Grand Door Prize
A Stitcher's Retreat is extremely proud of our "loyal
customers," many Windell and Debi Lyon, good friends of Randy's, were a
huge help in Maureen speaking with some of her students after the
class had already ended. Breakfast in the Eagle Cafe. Anne Littleton was the lucky winner of our Grand Door
Prize! NordenCrafts is a distributor in the
cross stitch industry who has always been supportive of and
extremely generous with door prize donations to A Stitcher's
Retreat. Repeating their generosity from last
year's retreats, owners Dave and Kris Stott went above and
beyond, splitting the cost with A Stitcher's Retreat of our
Grand Door Prize. Lucky stitcher Anne Littleton of Long
Beach, California won an Ultimate Daylight Floor Lamp
with accessories, an approximate $250
value! Windell and Debi, Maureen, Judy, and Ann. Same as above, but with Randy tickling Maureen right on
cue!

fifth time,
they are given a special mug as a small token of thanks. We
almost always
have one or two people in this exclusive club at a retreat,
but in Vermont we had FIVE!
Bev Hassler, Kathie Uebler, Pat Schlaerth, Shelley Glockner,
and Cathy Sheehan
were all five time attendees! Shelley and Cathy on the right
even accomplished this in
only four years, as they doubled up one year, coming to both
retreats!
