Musical entertainment in the lobby during registration for the first retreat was provided by Pavana (left) and Aleta Baird (right), two talented sisters who also attended the retreat as stitchers!

Ohio folk musicians Kendra Ward and Bob Bence performed concerts at both retreats, as well as music during registration for the second retreat. Here Kendra is playing a hammered dulcimer.

This husband and wife duo also performed on a "courting dulcimer," a double mountain dulcimer designed to be played by two.

At the second retreat, Bob shows a dulcimer that has been in Kendra's family for generations. The dulcimer was built in 1894!

The Shop at A Stitcher's Retreat

A Stitcher's Retreat is an offshoot of Heart in Hand Needleart. The latest from Heart in Hand was at the retreat, including a new exclusive kit.

Twisted Threads' shop booth.

Sheepish Designs' shop booth featured not only Dawn's designs, but her beautiful beeswax creations as well.

The newest Trilogy designs were featured on the left, and Bent Creek's shop booth is on the right.

Sisters & Best Friends display was as colorful as their personalities.
